Interactive Systems: NetPy Points Behavior Adjustment

In the original Dragon Ball Online MMO, players could passively earn "NetPy Points" by simply being logged in, receiving 4 points every 15 minutes. However, we've decided to make a significant adjustment to this feature for DBO Classic.

On our DBO Classic server, instead of passive point accumulation, players now have an interactive way to earn NetPy Points. By defeating monsters in the game world, players can obtain these points. Each monster defeated grants the player 1 point, with the chance of receiving none or even doubling the points earned. This chance is influenced by the level difference between the player and the monster they defeat.

This adjustment not only adds excitement to gameplay but also discourages players from feeling the need to stay connected continuously just to collect points. It promotes a more balanced and enjoyable experience for all players.

Accessible Gameplay: In-game Cash Point Generation

As a fan project, we understand the importance of non-mandatory donations to support all needed infrastructure, but we also believe in ensuring that all players have access to in-game items without needing to spend real money. To achieve this balance, we've implemented a unique feature.

Each time a NetPy Point is generated through gameplay, there's a very small chance of also generating a Cash Point. These Cash Points can be used in the cash shop to purchase items, providing players with an opportunity to acquire premium content through regular gameplay.

This feature promotes inclusivity and fairness, allowing all players to enjoy the full range of in-game content, regardless of their ability or willingness to make monetary contributions.
